FAQs

description

  • Attach the ropes to an immovable object like a pole, weight lifting rack, 2x4, your foot, etc. I currently attach my setup to a carabiner and then to a sling.

  • Put your hand out straight. Then curl your fingers towards your forearm. This motion is what you are mimicking when using the device.

  • Either. To maximize forearm and finger engagement, we recommend making your arm straight. Bending the arm at 90 degrees increase the amount of bicep and back muscle used during the pull.

  • The one that best fits your climbing needs! If you are a beginner, we recommend the larger edge sizes to not unnecessarily overload tendons and ligaments. Smaller sizes are for those who want to start training for smaller edge sizes.

  • Minimalist/Duality are rated to withstand at least 2000 N (449 lbf). The majority of climbers will pull below 2000 N. Elite (think professional) climbers can generate over 2000 N.

  • Absolutely! We recommend using one. Tindeq and PitchSix both sell force meters geared towards climbers. We don’t sell one, yet, but we will one day!

Used to improve strength and power!

Portable. Can be used during work breaks, at the gym, at the crag, during travel, and more! The weight of the largest one is under 2 oz.

Pocket sized. Measuring at less than 4.25 in, even the 30 mm fits into your pants pocket, maximizing the places you can use it.

Easy to use. Attach ropes on minimalist to your foot. Lock out your leg and arm. Pull. It’s that easy. We recommend using a carabiner attached to a sling or double prusik tied rope for adjustability.

Switch between hands easily during training sets.

Compatible with force meters, like Tindeq or PitchSix.

Comes in 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm edges.

Rate to 2000 N (449 pounds-force)
