About US
Cordillera Made was founded and is owned by Kevin Morris. Kevin's family comes from Puerto Rico and he is a proud United States Navy veteran.
Roots. As a kid, Kevin wanted nothing more than to be outside and running around in the mountains. More importantly, he wanted to inspire others to exercise and move their bodies. Since becoming an adult, he has spent much of his life convincing friends and family to join him in pursuit of bagging peaks, scrambling around on boulders, camping, and finding swimming holes to jump in.
Namesake. Cordillera means mountain range in Spanish. Kevin thought it would be cool if his Puerto Rican heritage was reflected in everything the company put it's name on.
And if you can't tell, he also loves mountains. He fundamentally belives mountains have the ability to recharge the soul of any human and bring peace and calm that no other place can. Cordillera Made was built for climbers who feel that same pull - who return to the mountains again and again to reset, reconnect, and recharge.
Service to Others. Kevin deeply believes service to others is what makes life meaninful. It is why he joined the Navy. It is why Cordillera Made's mission is to help Climbers Climb.

We test every detail to make sure design matches reality. And because half of climbing is style, we make sure they look cool, too.
