Nate LOVES climbing. All it took was one session in June 2025 and he was hooked. Despite only climbing for a short time he has progressed quickly. By October 2026, he was climbing V8 on the Tension Board. 

For Nate, climbing is a form of art. A beautiful way for him to move his body both powerfully and dynamically. The combination of gymnastics and parkour; sports he did as a kid. 

You see those sports reflected in his climbing style. Nate is happiest and climbing his strongest when he is on a 45 degree board, cruxing out on a crimp, keeping tension on a tiny foot chip, and then has to launch his body to the finish. It is a joy to watch him climb because he just doesn't quit. 

Nate's goal is to climb V13. He also has a side goal of climbing at all of the bouldering gyms in Washington State. Nate continues to train hard to reach his goals for the future.
